I am a HUGE fan of these critters now! Totally want to learn to make one! (I may be overestimating my abilities a little in being able to make anything 3D!)

I don't suppose anyone knows what size eyes he takes? I'm going to get the materials together first before buying the pattern (I hate buying a pattern then have to order my materials and wait like a month of twiddling thumbs)

I'm also a beginner/intermediate sewer (hand stitched some booties, machine sewed a nappy pouch and tried to sew some dresses for my daughter which turned out just ok...) so if anyone can tell me if it's really hard (or what the hardest thing about making these dragons is) that would be awesome!

I don't suppose someone knows what size eyes (in mm) he is supposed to have?

I'm thinking of buying the pattern (not terribly confident that I will be able to make him as I'm only a beginner sewer with a crappy sewing machine that tends to eat my material!).

So yeh, going to try and buy the materials first and figure out from there if I have enough energy and time (I have an 18mo terror) to try him out then buy the pattern once I'm set for materials.
