I had a chin named Sophie too, but sadly, she passed away recently. We have two other beautiful chins though named Thor and Sascha. Thor is the Blonde who is about two years old and Sascha is an Ebony who is only 8 months.

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Thanksgiving / Re: Thanksgiving crafts on: November 02, 2005 08:44:58 PM
I just planned a Pumpkin Patch Hayride through my Outdoor Recreation Program where I work as an activities coordinator. I bought those little tiny pumpkins a little bigger than softballs and we had the kids paint on them with acrylic paint. it was something that everyone could do since it didn't require much supervision and there were no scissors or glue involved, and then afterwards, to make them last you can spray a polyurethane on top of the paint and they last way longer than regular pumpkins.

Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Sydnee

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Japanese apron morphed into Japanese Tote Bag!!! on: April 20, 2005 08:33:37 PM
Hey, everyone! While this is not my first craft endeavor, this is my first post on the site. I found this neato apron when I bought a kuretomesode one year for Christmas for my boyfriend. They're a super nice kimono flea market that just happens to sell other things like.....pause for effect....really cute japanese aprons that I decided to make into a purse for myself. So, I bought something like this from www.ichiroya.com:

And turned it into this!

Hope you likey...
Sincerely,
Solia
