1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: (nintendo) messenger bag tutorial on: July 15, 2005 10:21:44 AM
Thank you so much for the extremely helpful tutorial! This was my first major project (evident in the quality. The interfacing I put in and my hap-hazard measuring kinda did me in) and it turned out better than I thought it would!

the outside, demure and plain. (holding some books and etc..for weight) I may leave it as is or put a stencil or applique on it.. what do you think?

the inside, maps! There is a handy pocket (the black thing) and a hidden pocket on the side for cell phone or pens, pencils (yay for measuring mistakes!)

Thank you again for the lovely tutorial! Next time I make one I will be sure to measure and sew correctly  Wink

Your tees rock.
You could make a puffy shirt if you can't find them, there are some tutorials on here somewhere... They are fairly easy to make (and I am a novice sew-er) ( here's a website aboot making them as well hehe it seems as though I am tossing this everywhere lately Cheesy http://www.lekkner.com/diy.gathers.html )
I saw some at target a long time ago...if that helps any Undecided
Good luck!

http://www.mcgugan.nildram.co.uk/volleyball/diags12.html perhaps do something like this for the flag girl, but, simpler, you know? like one of them or something like that perhaps...

what kind of instrument does the  other girl play? becuase perhaps you could have the intstument in the corner of one of the shirts.
I hope this helps somehow. Good luck whatever you decide    Smiley

Your shirts are particularly interesting, I am sure as you learn new techniques, they will branch out as well.

vexy: it wasn't said rudely, it twas the truth, doll. sometimes constructive criticism is necessary to grow in the world. its just how people learn.
I am not trying to make drama, please don't put me in the fire of the interweb and burn me. my skin is too dry right now as it is.   Embarrassed
