I have absolutely no clue where to post this, and I apologize if this is the wrong place!

I'm going to start selling some of my sewing creations! I started off with some hand sew and no sew hair clips, elastics and head bands.

I had both of these fabrics in my stash; the skulls from goodwill, and the camo remnant from jo-ann. Summer should be here soon, I hope (Seattle is not so summer-tastic at the best of times), so shorts it was! I made a rough pattern using a pair of each of my boys shorts as a template. I LOVE the skull shorts. My 16 month old is going to look so cute in them! And my 3 year old is really into camo at the moment, so it was the obvious choice 

The hubs came home with this XL t-shirt that he'd been given. He's not an XL, and doesn't wear canary yellow. I took it in a few inches each side, including sleeves. I like the way it turned out 

I found this dress for a couple of bucks at goodwill. Lopped off about a foot from the bottom, hemmed it, and done

This is kind of a refashion, but also kind of a new sew. I hope I'm posting in the right place!

I started with a tank top and some fabric I had in my stash. Cut the tank top off where I wanted the waist of the skirt to sit. Made the skirt by simply sewing a rectangle of fabric into a skirt, then stitched and pulled the thread to gather the top of the skirt. Stitched the tank top and the skirt together; figured out where the hem needed to be. Folded, pressed and stitched the hem. I was going to make a sash out of the skirt fabric, but got lazy and decided to use one of my belts. I'm happy with the finished product 

Quite a boring post. Reusable cloth baby wipes. We just started cloth diapering our boys, and cloth wipes seemed the next step in eliminating waste/minimising spending. I'm quite pleased with them; they work really well. They're made out of a double layer of flannel.

I was not sure where to post these, so if anyone can enlighten me please do! If not, here they shall stay 

My sister and her partner, and my brother and his partner, had baby girls two weeks apart! So far all I've had time to make were these blankets. First time working with satin binding and mitred corners, so I'm pretty happy with how they turned out 

My friend was getting married and wanted a bright, colorful, tulle, sparkly number for her wee princess to wear. This was the finished result. I hope to get pictures of Miss Eva in it soon!

My friend requested a knee length tutu (she was a ballerina once upon a time). So I made her one 

I found this dress at goodwill and loved the 80's feel of the floral pattern. I started of by taking in the bodice, but HATED the way it looked  I was a bit bummed and at a loss when I thought I'd hike it up so the waste band was over my boobs; and I liked it! So I just gathered up the bodice and stitched it in place. I cut off the spaghetti straps and sewed two new thicker straps and attached them onto the dress. It had a side split that now came up to my hip, so that got stitched closed. I'm pretty happy with the end result. Oh, and I added a little belt to synch the waste.
