This is my take on an infinity scarf.  It might be a little confusing, but once you get it going, it's pretty easy.

Supplies:

• Size 10.5 Circular Needles
• Yarn, colors of choice
• Row Markers and Yarn Needle

*Pretend the light blue ring is upside down.

The stitch count, for me, produced a small scarf that just fit and only needed to stretch a little to get over my head.  So if you want it longer, either knit looser than me (which is easy to do since I knit so tight) or cast on some more stitches.

I had a tail of a little more than two arm spans for casting on, but you'll figure out what you need after doing the first ring.

C/O 110 sts. on circular needles
Knit 10 rows in a circle
Cast off.

Your done with one!


Once you have the first ring done, you are going to have to weave in the others.  Before you weave, cast on your 110 stitches.

With your first ring laying upside down (the side where the two long edges meet) weave in your needle with your yarn on it; the side without the tail and ball hanging from it.  It is only weaved through twice and is really easy to do (Pictures 3-6).  Just make sure your stitches aren't twisted when you start your knitting.  (You don't have to have the rings upside down to start, but if you want them all the same way you do.  I didn't with one, so just that dark bluish gray one is the wrong way.  Live and learn.)

Now do this with each of your rings until you have your desired thickness. 

When I went to weave my needle in, I chose a ring already done and followed it with my needle.  Though I wasn't really picky about it.  I never, necessarily, followed the same ring each time, it was just a nice guide to get them generally woven the same.

I just love these cookies!  They taste delicious and are so cute!  They take some time to do, but I really think they are worth it!

Here is what you need to make these awesome cookies.

• Cookie Dough of Choice (remember, if you use a cookie dough that expands when it is baked, you could lose the wreath center)
• Marshmallow (or regular) Fondant
• Green Food Coloring
• Twizzlers Pull and Peel
• Small Red Sprinkles (or candies) of some sort
• Corn Syrup

It's pretty easy to get started.  Make up your cookie dough of choice.  I made sugar cookies: http://www.instructables.com/id/Perfect-Sugar-Cookies/   (this made about 24 cookies)

Cut them using a large and small cookie cutter, making a wreath shape.  Bake them!

Prepare your fondant.  I made marshmallow fondant and mixed in some green and a little blue food coloring into the melted marshmallows before adding the powdered sugar.

Pull and peel your Twizzlers too!.

Once your everything is ready and your cookies have cooled, take your fondant and shape it into leaves.  I took off a little chunk, rolled it into a ball, then pinched it into a diamond shape with rounded corners.  I stuck it onto the cookie using corn syrup and then drew in the leaf veins using a toothpick.

Now you can make the bows!  Take half of a strand of Twizzlers and twist it into a simple bow and squish it so it doesn't come undone.  Stick this onto the cookie using more corn syrup.  Lastly, take your little red sprinkles and paste them on the cookie in groups of three with the corn syrup.  That's it!  It takes quite a while to make all of the leaves, but they are darn cute when they are done!

This is a fun little way for kids (and adults) to count down the days till Christmas!

Supplies

• Candy - 25 pieces, it needs to be the kind that closes on each end so you can tie them together
• Red, Green and a tiny bit of Yellow paper for the sign
• Silhouette Cameo or Printer
• Glue Stick - to put the sign together
• String - I used size 10 white with green sparkles crochet thread. Yarn can work too and would probably be easier for kids to work with.
• Little piece of Cardboard

This is a fairly quick project and doesn't take that much time. You spend most of the time tying them together and that won't even take that long unless you want cute little bows like I did.

Making the Sign

I based this off of a candy countdown I made when I was younger. I don't remember what it said, but I know it was this shape. Anything will work
Measurements :
Outer Rectangle: 3 x 5 inches
Inner Rectangle: 2.5 x 4.5 inches
Holes: .1 x .1 inches
Tree: 1.405 x 2.065 inches
Star: .305 x .290

Once you have your pieces cut out, just glue them together!

To support the candy, you will need to paste a piece of cardboard to the back of the sign.

Tie Candies Together

Time to tie up your candies. From my 14 oz bag of Jolly Ranges I was able to get 16 cherries (red) and 9 green apples (green). This makes exactly 25, so I lucked out there. You don't have to use just red and green candies, I just figured I would since I could.

If you want your candies in a specific order, plan that out ahead of time. I would have liked to have mine go every other, but since there wasn't the right amount I tried to make a sort of pattern with the alternating green and reds.

Once you are ready cut off a piece of string or yarn that is a couple inches long. You can simply double knot them together if you want, but it will make it harder to pull off one each day. I decided to tie one knot and then a bow. It was a little difficult to do such a small bow, but I just cut the strings longer to start with and then trimmed off the excess once I had the bow the size I wanted.

Try to get them tied together where the wrapper meets the candy. This will be the strongest connection. Continue to tie them all together until you have them all connected.

Attach the sign to the candies

You just need two pieces of string for this step. No specific length, just make sure one is long enough to tie the candy to the sign and the other is long enough to tie between the top two holes with enough room to hang. You can always trim off the excess.

I tied a double knot around one of the candies on the end. Then I pulled the ends through the two holes at the bottom of the sign, front to back. I double knotted this and then tied a little bow.  For the top, get another string and tie each end to each corner. I trimmed off the extra.

Now just hang it up!

I know this isn't really deep fried, but it's a good description of what it is and how it tastes!  These little (or big) pies are so easy to make and so delicious!  There's no reason not to try them

Here is what you need for this tasty pie!

Ingredients:
Flour Tortillas (I got 2 little pie crusts from one small tortilla)
Vanilla Ice Cream
Corn Flakes
Cinnamon Sugar
Butter
Honey (So important, but I forgot to put it in the picture!)

Special Supplies:
Cupcake Pan
Pie Pan
Pastry Brush (if you have it, if not, I found a spatula worked fine)
Ramekin (or something of similar size for cutting out mini pies)
Cutting Board and Knife
Plates
Oven and Microwave

Making the Crusts:

Take your small tortilla, cutting board, knife and ramekin.
Take your ramekin and lay it on the tortilla against one edge.  I planned it out so I could get two from each tortilla.
Cut around the ramekin.
Repeat on other side of tortilla, they might not be perfectly round, but that doesn't matter.
Once you have how many you want, melt some butter in a bowl and get your pastry brush and cinnamon sugar.
Brush butter on the tortilla and coat in cinnamon sugar.  Do this on a plage, it get's messy.
Flip the tortilla and coat the other side with butter and cinnamon sugar.
Put it in the cupcake pan, be careful not to tear it.  The sides will fold and ruffle.
Repeat for all tortillas till the pan is full or until you have how many you want.

Bake your pie crusts for about 13.5 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  

While they are baking you can put together your topping.  All you need to do is crush up corn flakes and mix them with cinnamon sugar!

Putting Your Pies Together:

Take your pie crusts and put some ice cream inside.  
Sprinkle your pie topping on top of the ice cream.
Lastly, drizzle on some honey, it makes all the difference!  

And that's it!

I finished my costume with just hours to spare!  No real reason to wear it except that it's Halloween, but I'm happy I got it done.  I don't remember why I wanted to be Madeline, but I think the costume turned out cute.  I even dyed my hair to look more like her.  Though, I refused to cut my long hair, but I found a video on Youtube that shows how to make long hair look short!

• Plain Gloves like those shown (I had a hard time finding the kind I wanted.  I ended up finding them at Daiso.  You don't want any coating on the inside, and you want them to be clear.)

Just a fun little cross stitch inspired by the awesome Nightmare Before Christmas.  It is from the opening song "This is Halloween".  These are Oogie Boogie's lines from that song.  It is all done in white embroidery floss on black 14 count aida fabric.
