one of my guy friends, who I taught how to knit, actually wrapped me a small bag of coffee beans and a carribou giftcard in a ball of cheap black yarn a few years back as a birthday present.  It's still one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.   Cheesy

Odds are good that the goods are gone.  Did you get an angel?  I'm sure you did, but I understand the feeling of frustration.  I knit someone a Hurley doll once durring a LOST swap, and she flaked.  My poor Hurley.
