This upcoming weekend my boyfriend and I are visiting Madison. We live in Ladysmith, and we just moved here from Cincinnati a few months ago and are seriously bored.

Saturday we are going to the art museum, but after that we don't really know where to go or what to do. We would really like to eat Thai or Indian food, visit a good record store, and maybe check out an indie film.

AND I need to find a good fabric store!!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ladysmith is severely dull and we've been here for months...

After a year of use I figured my bobbin case probably needed to be dusted. I took all the parts out and put them back in but they are all wobbly...Not stationary as before. I have kenmore side loading machine. Has anyone else had this problem? I can't find anything in the manual that helps troubleshoot. I can get the parts back in the correct place I just can't make them stop moving, and the machine is unusable.

Is it possible to cut into a sweater? I want to make this one sweater I have into a cardigan but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Has anyone ever tried this?  I was thinking that maybe I could fuse some backing on it it first and cut through it that way?

Does anyone know a place where I can get vinyl shower curtains printed? I can't seem to find anyone in the US that can print them for me.

I've visited a lot of sites that list their bags and clothing as being "handmade." If something is machine sewn, but cut by hand and is a one of a kind design, is it still considered handmade?
