a cute idea might be to make him a little book/photo album in the style of "a day in the life of...". that way, though he couldn't be with you in person, he can feel like he spent the day with you. you know, take pictures all day long of where you went and what you did and put in captions.

I was thinking of making something sweet as a surprise for my boyfriend that i don't get to see during the week. but i don't know what to do! i'm not particularly crafty... i want it to be a surprise and i'd like to mail it to him (even though we live in the same city). any ideas? here's a list of things he enjoys:

1. anything nintendo-related (but i've played up this idea to death already)
2. metal music
3. movies
4. writing/recording music
5. writing stories (but to a lesser extent)
6. reading
