One last look from Pierre before he leaves.  *Sniff*  Wink

Then it was first-class treatment as Ed, my friendly neighborhood UPS guy came to pick up the li'l bun.

Nothing like traveling on the top shelf in an air-conditioned van!  Happy Trails, Pierre!  Kiss

Pierre was taking a little walk around town, getting ready for his big trip to visit Gerrijo in MN!

He's almost finished packing (he's waiting for his passport) and he expects to leave on Tuesday.  Cheesy

106  A Flying Spaghetti Monster sighting in my house? in Completed Projects by gizmonic on: March 22, 2007 08:35:10 PM
I saw this image on my closet door...the FSM has touched me with his noodly appendage!

Holy Spaghettios, I have seen the divine sauce!  I am now a Pastafarian!  Smiley

Ramen, my craftster brothers and sisters, Ramen.

(pay no attention to the thread holding him up and that he looks a lot like pipe cleaners -- nothing to see here, move along now!)   Wink

108  My FO -- Jayne Cobb hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by gizmonic on: September 07, 2006 07:04:46 PM
So it was Labor Day weekend and I was bored.  I needed a knit fix and I couldn't sleep.

Click, Click, Click until the wee hours -- by 4am the hat was done!

Here's the link to Emisanboo's cunning pattern:   http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=19076.20

Instead of using circular needles I used dpns and co 66st instead of 64st.  Also used Lion Brand Wool-Ease worsted wgt.  Colors: gold #171, buttercup #158 and cranberry #138.  It makes for a lightweight (but comfortable) hat.

Fun and easy project!

Next time I'll try it in Lopi.

Tom Servo sporting a cunning hat (btw, this is one of the Servo heads from MST3K -- "Werewolf" episode, the one w/Mike and the bots as a 50's girl group)

Thanks for looking! Kiss

109  Re: You Can't Knit All Day? in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by gizmonic on: August 19, 2006 05:59:02 PM
I once spent an entire Saturday knitting socks!

And today, I spent about 3 hours working on a Jacques Cousteau-style cap for my husband.

(It's the best picture I could find of the red cap)

Gosh, if I could knit all day instead of working, I'd do it!  Smiley
