I forgot to post a decent pic of the cloth I made for Myklia.  D'oh!

It's the yellow and green one.  I followed the pattern on the ball band.  I was quite pleased how it turned out. (CraftADDChick -- whad'ya think of the green?  Reminds me of Al! )  I also crocheted the little hearts too. 


Since my last post on this board, I've been taking crochet classes @ Joann's.  I'm now a crocheting machine! Yee-haw!  There's no stopping me now!!!!!

I am sooo glad you got your bo. I am really excited about shipping boxes LOL..I hate that part the waiting waiting and wondering if your partner will like it all...LOL..I know this one my partner would love how could you go wrong with EP or MM ? I am sooo happy Giz likes her stuff...

If I may brag a little here...I'm really proud of my nephew's project.  I told him about Craftster and he asked me if I could share it with you.

My nephew hung out with me at work yesterday.  I work in my family's business so I can spare an hour here and an hour there for a little goofing around w/him.  He and I had recently seen Wall*E and he wanted to make a robot.  I found an empty aerosol can and, with a little guidance and handling of sharp pointy things from his Auntie Giz, he came up with C.A.N.D.U.

His solar-powered house, complete with panels:

I was super impressed with his vision and his imagination.  He came up the the name and the whole backstory for his little guy.  He's called C.A.N.D.U. because he can do stuff.  He was even giving me instructions where to pose C.A.N.D.U. as I was taking pictures

I sent her a crocheted cloth (my 2nd one ever crocheted), the ever-popular garterlac, a crocheted heart bookmark, a ball of self-striping cotton (if you haven't used self-striping yarn before, buy some NOW!  It's da bomb, as the kids say ) and a Christmas Story ornament:  it's the Bumpus hounds stealing the Christmas turkey.  She's a mondo fan of the movie.

What a blast I had making these for you Myklia.  You're a great swap partner and just a really sweet gal.
