A question about dividing for the placket: after you turn the work so the WS is facing, does that mean you'll be knitting flat (back and forth, instead of circular?) for the next few inches?
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: first quilt - a year in the making on: October 29, 2007 12:05:13 PM
Wow, your first quilt came out AMAZING!  I love your fabric choices as well, and the tag is a perfect touch.  You should be VERY VERY proud of yourself, amazing work~  Shocked

Thanks a bunch!  I started it soooo long ago and then it got put on hold for a while.  I'm glad I finally finished it because I think it was such a cute knit!

I like the way he has his 'arms' in front.  It kinda looks like he's hanging out on the beach, looking for some shih-gals.  Tongue

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: First Quilt- Aqua and Red on: July 15, 2007 02:32:41 PM
I think it is great, too!  And that backing fabric is my favorite part!!  I know what you mean about needing a good place to quilt- I just finished my first and I took over my husband's poker table for about a month!!
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Very Basic But Cute Quilt from a First-Timer on: July 15, 2007 02:30:34 PM
The three largest panels are my favorite, too.  I actually have made wall hangings using all of those fabrics as well, so the quilt matches the hangings in my bedroom, my living room, and my sister's living room!  Grin
Aren't bassets the best?  I have two and I wouldn't trade 'em for the world.
