1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Slide Curtains & Lampshade - with tutorial on: February 22, 2012 06:00:54 PM

4.  I first attached the top row of slides to the lampshade.  Then just went down the sides.  I didn't do vertical strips because I knew I had a limited number of slides and the goal was just to make it as long as possible with the slides I had.

i found that you attached the   slides to each other from the pics ,how about attach the top side of the slides only . So, the slides will be float when there is breeze which  should be looks better !

Yea if you only want to attach the tops that would work too.

I wanted to make it more like a solid curtain so we would have some privacy in the basement (it's by the basement shower.  Smiley)
got it !

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / To install led strips in bedroom ,any suggestions ? on: February 07, 2012 09:04:37 PM
I want to make my bedroom  more comfortable by redesign the  lighting . I choose some LEDs ,i believe LEDs shine much more naturally ,such as LED strips and led downlights lights .
And now, what i need is some suggestion about the lighting design ,such as what color and which  of led strips i should choose (i may buy led strips here ), and how bright the downlights i should choose ?
