1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / I'm off to see the Wizard... on: April 01, 2011 01:42:58 PM
Wearing my stylish new reversible bag!!!

The lining - Poppies of course!!

The front - Off to see the Wizard!

The back - following the yellow brick road to Emerald City

I've loved The Wizard of Oz ever since I was a little girl.  When my friends mother made a WOZ blanket for her new granddaughter, I freaked out!  WOZ fabric?!  Seriously?!  So of course I had to go to the fabric store and score me some.  Wink  I have another purse in the works using different WOZ fabric, once it's done I'll be sure to post.  Smiley
I used the free pattern "reversible bag" from verypurpleperson over at burdastyle.com!
Hope you enjoy!!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help with turning a dress into a skirt? Pretty please? on: July 22, 2010 11:19:16 AM

So, it would be easy enough except that the dress is lined and with a back zipper.  It's my daughters, and the upper half is too small but the skirt part still fits nicely.  Since she only wore it once I'd like to recon it into a skirt for the summer.

Its 100% cotton lining, cotton/linen blend outer skirt.

Can anyone give me hand please?  I dont know where to start.   Embarrassed
3  COOKING / Dessert / More Adult Cupcakes! on: September 10, 2008 02:30:52 PM
Mine, however, are no where near as good as Bunny of DOOM!'s (my hats off to you!) but I'm still happy with the little guys. Smiley

(I'm doing a link instead of the picture b/c I dont have a warning pic.  I hope thats okay.)

I made these for my friends stagette party.  They were loved by all.  The "furry balls" are made by lining a chocolate mold with crushed oreo's before pouring in the tinted white chocolate.  They are my first attempt at naughty cupcakes, as I'm sure you can tell, lol.  I've got another stag coming up in another month so I've got some time to work at them.
Thanks for looking!
