I had tons of these old boring bangles and so i decided to make them a bit interesting. Plus, they are all so easy to make!

This was made of suede eyelet lace

the zara ribbon fell off one of my blouses and it came in handy here

This one is a gingham/plaid lace which i wrapped around this plastic bangle

this is what it looks iniside, i used a satin lace here literally as a lining

This is my favorite lace: its kinda weaved patent synthetic leather

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / leather kanzashi brooch, earrings, necklace and bangles! on: December 17, 2005 06:55:46 AM
My schedule has been nothing but hectic but i never stop playing with my long nose pliers and beads.  I've been working in a leather manufacturing firm for quite a while and with heaps of scrap leather laying around, i can't help but be in love with those too.  So here you go with some of the stuff i made with leather.

1. This was my first attempt with kanzashi brooch making. After hours of trying to shape the leather to make it look like a decent flower, im glad it turned out great! The earrings and necklace set was inspired by some jewelry i saw at saksfifthavenue.com

2. I wrapped a boring old wood bangle and plastic bracelet with leather and used black suede as lining. Rugby is my new found friend! hehe!

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Beaded Earrings: My First Post! Yay! (with added pix as promised!) on: May 30, 2005 02:37:13 AM
The first time i've played with beads, wires and a long nose pliers, i created 26 pairs of earrings! Sadly, i could only upload 4 pairs, coz my phone camera cant handle the details of my babies. Soooo, please please bear with the low-res pics. I've got more pics coming as soon as i borrow a digicam.

I would really appreciate everyone who read this post for comments and suggestions. Muchos Thanks!

1. dark-green tiger-eye beads on the large loop, black multi-colored glass beads on the medium and small loop. The Flower centerpiece i recycled from a broken bracelet.
