21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 51 and 52 Discussion on: November 25, 2009 01:01:01 PM
oh PFD - that totally sucks!! I hope you find something again really soon!

as a side note - I have not been around much because of my own personal disaster. We had to put our dog to sleep earlier this month. When I signed up for this round - I had no idea November would be so awful.

Date:
Saturday, November 7, 2009
Time:
3:00pm - 6:00pm
Location:
712 N. Heliotrope, Los Angeles, CA 90028

Come join LA Cycle Chic for a really relaxed ride to shopping on Melrose. We'll meet at Scoops and people can get ice cream while they are getting ready to ride or if people prefer they can get ice cream after or not at all. Scoops is vegan friendly. Also Pure Luck vegan restaurant is right across the street in case people want to get dinner after. There are also plenty of places along the route if we need refreshment. The Metro Redline stops as Vermont & Santa Monica and it is a short ride from there to where we are meeting. Parking can be tricky in the area so plan to arrive early if you are driving. As a group we'll decide how much shopping we do. Dress should be chic. I hope you can make it.

Edit: If you are planning on attending please sign up to follow us on Twitter that way we can tweet where we are and you can tweet us and everyone can K.I.T.

I have to bow out now Cry  I was riding my bike last saturday and got -- full on -- smacked by car door opening on me at 9 miles an hour. At least I know Cedar Sanai Emergency room is AWESOME.

I will spare you photos of my, now, purple and green foot/shin area.  Can't stand or walk for extended periods of time yet.

Sarah & Rae - I would love to go the kit kraft meet up route as well. I could bring husband and NOT have him bored for hours Smiley

I totally zoned on this thread but I am now getting email notifications. Oct 10 is fine for me but I'm not sure how to get to Venice from Hollywood.  I've been before but I'll have to look at the MTA map.
29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: PROJECT RUNWAY: Season 6 - Episode 7 - Official Craftster Discussion Thread on: October 02, 2009 09:00:58 AM
I do not agree with who won AGAIN this week. Nicolas should have gone home immunity or not. Not only is he bitchy and back biting but he is just not up to the standards of the other designers. Seriously - I think that's why Heidi was so creepy - I guess the producers wouldn't let them throw him off too.

I can't believe the other losing team as well. I would have worn BOTH of their outfits. I'll bet the judges would ahev like them better if the dresses had been the same colors.

ok - this episode was ridiculous!! I thoguht the winner and the loser were ON PAR WITH ONE ANOTHER!

Epperson was my favorite with Christopher a VERY close second.
