1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / New Necklace for Summer on: June 24, 2010 08:53:30 AM
For some reason I woke up at 6:30am this morning, definitely not normal for me! So I decided to use my time effectively and create something lovely. This is my new summer necklace. It's made from glass, coral, stones, pearls, and turquoise chips. I'm loving color right now... Enjoy!

Very cute! I haven't seen this style done with felt before. I like it!

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Random jewelry from May on: May 19, 2010 05:47:37 PM
This is just a fraction of the stuff I've been working on this month. Jewelry making fell to the background for a long time but in the last couple weeks I've been very much back into it! Here are a few pieces I managed to snap photos of....

Gold circle necklace

Feather and filligree earrings, accented with crystals

Silver necklace accented with red feathers and freshwater pearls

Beaded cat collars for a friend

Comments welcome! x.

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wire Wrap Bracelets on: May 19, 2010 05:39:09 PM
Wow I've been super MIA from the Craftster boards! Well, i've been busy busy busy making things. These are my latest obsession, wire wrap bracelets. So addictive to make because I just get to play with colors and textures! They take far longer than expected, but the end result is totally worth it. The pictures were taken with my phone so not the best quality but I wanted to share! Smiley

First: blues and purples with gold accents. Glass, wood, pearl, stone, turquoise, metal

Second: reds and oranges with gold accents (I'm loving the bellydance, Middle Eastern vibe). Glass, wood, stone, pearl, coral, metal

Third: pinks and blacks with silver accents. Glass, wood, stone, pearl, coral, metal

Comments please! x.

Thanks guys! I didn't actually make the little wooden dudes. I bought them as keychains but they are handmade in Chiang Mai in Thailand. I got them at this OTOP (One Tambon, One Project) show in Bangkok where they feature items made in all the different areas and villages around Thailand. It's pretty cool. I've actually thought about trying my own hand at them, just haven't had the time yet.
