I was told about the need for toys at the local battered women's shelter. I made a few octopi because they are fast and easy and helped me lighten my stash a bit. I hope they help the kids who have to live at the shelter.
It's acrylic paint, a piece of mulberry paper, a stamped image and tiny gold stars. (not available)
Also I have included a bonus card for you that my daughter made (15 yrs.). She likes to swap too.
Colored pencils and sharpie and tiny stars. It's called Castles in the Sky. I apologize for the horrible pics. My scanner isn't working and I haven't posted a decent picture yet! These cards really do have straight edges.
Inspired by the Indiana weather.....dead, gray and snowy.
I hand painted the tree and snowflakes with a sharpie, acrylic paint with textile medium and fabric paint. Then I used my bedazzler to add the rhinestones to the snowflakes. There are 3 snowflakes on the back shoulder and 1 on the sleeve.
It looks more realistic and detailed than the pic shows, but you get the idea.
I like it. I have gotten some nice compliments on it when wearing it.
