Well... when you are using self made molds made out of latex, you dont need to use a release becasue the latex
is so smooth and rubbery that they just pop out when you push on them.

And dont worry Im happy to answer any questions. In fact I wish I had someone to ask stuff when I was learning.

First of all thank you for all the lovely comments. They didnt come out as planned but now Im happy with them. And so to answer questions.

The mold I made using brush on rubber latex and a deodorant lid. You have to apply and re apply for about a day, layers of latex. Letting them dry in between layers you end up with a rubber mold in the shape of you lid. You can re use them because rubbing alcohol can take off any old resin.

I never really did any polishing to them. And if I did I wouldnt know what to use because my dremel tool didnt work on my only test subject.

When I varnished them I used some crappy wood varnish that my mom gave me. I didnt realize that it was for wood and it made them look crappy so I When to Revy and bought krylon epoxy enamel.

Rubber Latex + Casting Resin + Catalyst- You can all get at Michaels
Deodorant- anywhere
Varnish- Revy or anywhere like that

This was my first time doing anything like this. I didnt make to many because I didnt know what I was doing.
Im pretty happy with the way they came out. But now I know what to do better next time.
I guess I forgot to menton the fact that necklaces. This is just a picture of them before the rings and necklace part were added.
The last one I some how messed up on the varnish and now it looks wrinkly. But I guess you get the point.
