I've begun making League of Legends piece for my boyfriend's friends and I need to make bases to attach the polymer sculptures and odd and ends to. I was wondering if I could make like a say a dome out of Stonex or Marblex, let it dry, then cover it with polymer and bake it? It says not to kiln it on the package but will it matter after it's dried? I just don't want to waste a ton of polymer on bases

Okay so a couple month ago I entered a contest from the New Era hat company called "Introducing" where you display your art and if they like it and you get enough votes you go on to phase two. I admit I actually forgot that I had entered it lol opps :/ Then I get an email saying congratulations you've made it to phase two and they sent me the "Cube" in it was a blank hat a few acrylic paint markers and some other random things. So now since I had not planned anything I have no idea what to do except perhap incorporate polymer clay. I only have two weeks but I cannot figure out how to do this lol. And can polymer clay even be used on fabric? I don't know I'm so confused

Thank you so much you're so helpful to everyone Diane. I think I'm going to make a giant beer bottle out of styrofoam and paper and then make the label design out of clay so it pops out

So my boyfriends birthday is on the 15Th and he really likes the clay work that I do so just for his card I was thinking about incorporating clay into it or like making a banner with clay doodads hanging from it. I just can't figure out how  I'm going to go about this and the idea only came to me today sadly so I only have a week to do it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and I'll post a picture of the completely project when done. Thanks guy. 

My boyfriend had been on a mission to kill all the rats in his backyard and although I the one time I seen him do it, the cries coming from the rat were quite disturbing - it inspired me to create "Rat Man". He's done with acrylics, watercolors, and markers on canvas. Sorry for the picture quality, I dont have a great camera :/
