3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A Grocery Bag and Tote on: December 19, 2007 02:32:13 PM
Here's a grocery bag I made using this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177482.0

The letters I painted on....the leaves are felt which I hand embroidered on...

This tote I made for my bestie...I added some clear plastic-ish material I found for .63 cents (yay for remnants) so the bottom won't get dirty...I also hand painted the stripes...

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Bottomless on: October 29, 2007 10:57:41 PM
I want to create a bag with a bottom like this:
(*image from modcloth.com).

These are two pieces of fabric sewn to create a box. Does anyone know how to do this?

P.S.: Not the one where you sew the corner like a triangle to create a box, or the one you cut out a square and sew. This one is two separate pieces of fabric.

Thanks!

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / The Candy Scarf on: August 25, 2006 11:03:21 PM
This is my first ever knitted project...I cam up with the pattern and everything....it's made entirely in garter stitch and I made the pattern to help me learn some basics like increasing, switching to new colors, and decreasing. Can't forget the pom-poms!  Grin  Ohh...almost forgot...I haven't weaved in the ends yet because I need to buy a tapestry needle. Can't wait to wear it this fall...it was supposed to be a spring scarf (one of the long extra skinny types), but it came out a little to wide and short! hehe...thanks for looking!  Wink
