Here's a grocery bag I made using this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177482.0

The letters I painted on....the leaves are felt which I hand embroidered on...

This tote I made for my bestie...I added some clear plastic-ish material I found for .63 cents (yay for remnants) so the bottom won't get dirty...I also hand painted the stripes...

eloborate SLIGHTLY more on what you mean

you want a rectangular bag that has a bottom that is removable? (i got this from your title : bottomless)

or just made of a seperate piece of material?

or what?

for it to be ONLY 2 seperate pieces of fabric, it would be the *triangle* method

and i dont get what you mean by: "the one you cut out a square and sew"

i just want to make sure i know what you are looking for, so i can help you make the bag you want...

Sorry, wrote in a hurry so I didn't check my mistakes. I don't want a removable bottom, just a squared bottom tote. The bag's bottom is seperate piece of fabric instead of being the type in this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204022.0  where squares were cut out of the corners and then joined. The bag's body is one large piece of fabric that has been sewed to a square piece (the bottom), I just want to know how to do this since i have problems with corners.

Heres a better picture of the bag.

(image form modcloth.com)

So that's what I meant by cut a square and sew, as in the bottom is a square piece of fabric that has been sewed to a large rectangular piece of fabric, thanks.

Here's an image I made to better explain:

THANK YOU NANCY! Nevermind, Nancy has found the solution to my problems! Thanks!

I want to create a bag with a bottom like this:
(*image from modcloth.com).

These are two pieces of fabric sewn to create a box. Does anyone know how to do this?

P.S.: Not the one where you sew the corner like a triangle to create a box, or the one you cut out a square and sew. This one is two separate pieces of fabric.

Thanks!
