3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Viva La Juicy Soap HP Method! on: February 28, 2012 10:23:24 AM
First Guys let me say this is going to be short and sweet!  I made a soap mold friday then last night made a very successful batch of hp soap and dyed it light pink and scented it with a Viva La Juicy dupe from WSP!

I think I have the hang of this thing...although the dye kinda sucks (i got it while i was on a trip, never again!)..Ill stick to WSP or BrambleBerry for future dyes...but it smells good and I think I did alright...

Here it is!

10  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Can You Burn HP Soap? on: May 19, 2010 10:15:23 PM
HELLO all..... I first want to say that all the soapy goodness on here is awesome...that being said i want to make some soooo bad...and I'm Extremely New too it...super new!!..but I can seem to get it right. Sad..My recipe is 50%Olive Oil 35%Coconut Oil and 15%Crisco....I ran it through a soapcalc...and it looked like an ok recipe but everytime I make it towards the end it sorta turns brownish and wont take color or scents very well...because of the browness..or something else im not sure...and i was wondering if it was possible that I am burning my soap...I want to fix this because olive oil is expensive and i dont wanna keep messing up Sad So that being said I am willing to try CP but I really want to do HP..as i'm impatient (which is bad) So if you could help me that would be GREAt!!!....and MANY THANKS!!!
