The title pretty much is what I'm asking for...What is the best soap recipe...and does anyone have a shampoo bar recipe they wouldn't mind sharing?...I mean thats not too much to ask right...hehe Grin  Thanks EVERYONE!

I make a shampoo bar using a lot of castor oil, jojoba, olive & tallow.  You want to avoid using the harsher cleansing oils like Coconut & Palm as it leads to flyaway and dry hair.  Add whatever fragrance you like to get the scent you like. 

Ooh I've always wanted to make a shampoo bar...how does it work.

Hey thanks...im going to try using saran wrap...i like the oven process because i dont want to wait forever to use my soap...btw im going to try to post pics of the crazy cupcake soap i made...it looks so silly but smells soooo good....also my men's soap that I made was sorta plain but my boyfriend and my friends boyfriend liked it!...so yay!

Ok so this may have been answered but how can i prevent the ashyness crumbly top on the soap...would wraping it in plastic wrap be a good way or would the plastic wrap just melt?....any advice?

aww that made me feel a little better....i tried adding warm water which worked but i had to go to the store and by the time i got back it was hardish again...anyways...im using the soapmaking tutorial on here because im impatient and i dont want to wait 10billion years to use the soap...lol....but im learning and its fun....me and my friend my actually try to sell them at a farmers marked after we move.

haha...i may put pics up of the manly soap but the cupcake soap is so silly looking....i would put pics up for others to see my epic fail..lol...but on the bright side it smells sooooo goood!!...thanks maremare...and for future reference was there anything i could have done to soften the soap up?

ahh it was cp .....i sorta gave upp...it looks silly but its in the oven right now...i will still love it the same...next time i will have pastry bags on hand ... thanks tho btw i made a manly soap yesterday and it smells awesome!

so im trying to make cupcake soap and i couldnt find a piping bag so i used a makeshift one and it busted...anywho my icing part of my soap is getting harder and harder is there any way to soften it or am i doomed...please i need help now thank you guys!
