1  Teesha Moore Mug Rug in Quilting: Completed Projects by Geminio Cupcake on: February 29, 2012 02:01:16 PM
So this is my first time working with the whole teesha moore patch thing. Really it's just two patches and then a... hybrid for the big one. I made a braided coaster for the larger one and sewed that onto the big "patch".
It's a bit off but I think that makes it more fun. I plan on sending it to my friend in Germany.
So here it is:

Then some action shots:

I like the look of the patches and think I'm gonna try to make some more goods with them. Let me know what you think and also if you have any tips!

2  Hunger Games Embroidered Patch in Needlework: Completed Projects by Geminio Cupcake on: February 27, 2012 03:46:03 PM
I made this for the Hunger Games Swap and I'm really proud of how it ended up... once again with the exception of the wonky arrow.

Finished product:

In progress shot:

I put it on a bag for my swap partner:

I've never filled-in so much with tiny stitches before. It took a very long time, but it was well worth it.

Let me know what you think!

My package from chughes225 came today!!! I'm going to dig up my for reals camera but for now here are pictures from my phone (I'm just too excited not to post!!!).

Fist the whole lot:

In that amazing package we have a hand painted Mockingjay polo, Hunger Games trilogy coasters, Finnck Odair undies (The booty says: Why? Do you find this... Distracting?), Hunger Games bracelet, Rue inspired keychain, Peeta's perl ring, and a FANTASTIC hand painted re-purposed book that hold my nook!!!

Totally amazing. Here are closer pictures of the bracelet, keychain, and ring.

4  Girly-tastic stationary set in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Geminio Cupcake on: January 10, 2012 10:13:17 PM
Howdy all! I made these envelopes and then used the scraps and some stamps to make little note cards. Then I put them in a set with pencils and a handmade bow (that kinda goes with the coloring?) to give as a little gift to my cousins girlfriends. The green set has a kinda weird pencil holder that I didn't end up using... but that's ok.

Thanks for looking! C and C welcome, also  what else do you think I could use to keep them together, I just used paperclips... but I think there's a better way.  Roll Eyes

5  Some cozy cozies for Christmas in Completed Projects by Geminio Cupcake on: January 08, 2012 08:28:14 PM
I love making these for my friends and family... one of them is a bit on the dirty side, but that makes it WAY more fun!  Wink

They're just felt cut in the shape of a disposable sleeve and then I embroider a little something something on them!

6  I've Read that!: Paper Star Decorations in Winter Holidays by Geminio Cupcake on: December 14, 2011 03:21:08 PM
I found a great tutorial for these bad boys on a craft blog and thought that they would be a fun little gift for all my friends who loves the reading!

They take up a nice chunk of time: you need to rip up a used book, cut them into little rectangles then make them into little cones with  hot glue... then you glue them onto a star shape. I put two inchie sized squares in the middle with a little gem for most of them but three have cute buttons.

I have no idea how to package them but I plan on giving them out in threes. Everything's better in threes! Let me know what you think!
***I'm trying to find the blog that I got the tutorial from... when I do I'll share it!!!
