1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / black and white halter! on: June 17, 2006 08:42:13 PM
so I made this about a year ago, at the time my camera was broken, so no before picture...

detail...

doesn't my floor look lovely wearing it?

it's made from a longsleeve top that I never wore because of said long sleeves, so I figured I'd make it into a top I'd rather wear more often. I really kind of went with the flow, I cut off the sleeves and collar and went from there...I also added the keyhole.the straps came from the sleeves. and it's completely handsewn because I'm sewing machine-less.  Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / wire & bead flower pin [now with tutorial!] on: April 10, 2005 03:22:00 PM
[I know the pic is a little blurry, sorry]

I made this flower pin for my mom at Christmas and so far I've made two more {sorry no pics} for my good friend's birthdays. All of the beads used were Blue Moon size 11/0 seed beads and the wire was silver 26-gauge. The entire flower itself takes many hours to finish...each petal is about 1-1 1/2 hours depending on how much you're concentrating on the project.

I'll post a tutorial if anyone's interested. :]

TUTURIAL TIME!

this is my modified tutorial.
the original came from the book Beading for the First Time by Ann Benson.

happy beading!
