11  beer shirt to dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by giggleycraft on: September 09, 2006 01:36:01 PM
This is my first recon, and the first time I've used a sewing machine since grade 8 Home Ec class.  I still need to make some adjustments so it's wearable and my boobs don't fall out the sides, but I thought I'd share anyway :]

12  newbie with a bobbin question in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by giggleycraft on: September 09, 2006 05:44:55 AM
Hi all,

I just got a swing machine from my MIL.  She can't find the manual.  It's a Singer 6252.  I'm not sure how to thread the bobbin. I don't know what direction the tread is supposed to go and such.

Here's the machine :

Here's the empty bobbin :

and here's where the bobbin goes:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm keeping this one for myself. I liked it too much to sell it.  I may make another similar item to sel; I'll see how it goes over first.

16  Wire wrapped beach glass in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by giggleycraft on: May 12, 2006 05:24:04 AM
Here's my first item wrapped in wire that isn't a bead or marble just done in a spiral.  It's for my mom for Mothers day.  It's almost 2" long, but she's been wanting a really big pendant.

17  Butterfly ear threads in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by giggleycraft on: April 23, 2006 07:28:01 AM
Here is what I did with some Swarovski butterflies I bought, and somw hematite hearts.  I love ear threads.  They're selling quite well already, I think I'm going to have to get some more ear thread findings.

18  Rde necklace with illusion focal in Beads: Completed Projects by giggleycraft on: April 14, 2006 04:38:39 AM
I got this in my head, and just had to try it.  The beads came from a red assortment from firemountain gems.  I'm thinking about $18 for this one, any thoughts or comments would be great!

19  I got new beads, so I had to play in Beads: Completed Projects by giggleycraft on: April 09, 2006 04:01:31 AM
I got an awesome deal on a big box of beads at Lewiscraft.  I don't usually go in there because most of their beads are plstic, but they had a going out of business sale, so I had to check and see if anything was good.  I found a big box of pretty earthtone glass beads, orginally priced at 19.99.  I thought it was 50% off, but it reang up as $7.45 with taxes Cheesy.  My first project with it was a really long necklace(the seed beads I already had)

Then I had to play with my new crimp plyers, so what better way than an illusion necklace.  With some cane beads, and a pretty glass butterly.

Comments are always appreciated, as would any thoughts on pricing.
