1  Woohoo ! i think i've invented something !! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by pink_water_fairy on: March 05, 2006 03:23:25 PM

i cut up one of those foam polystyrene trays you get tomatoes in from the supermarket and sprinkled some different sorts of embossing powder on it and put it in the oven for a few minutes.
the pieces shrank and the embossing powder embossed and they looked WKD !!

2  how do i attach clamps to the ends of cord/leather thong in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by pink_water_fairy on: January 29, 2006 06:46:31 AM
Help please !  Huh

i recently bought some 'fold over clamps' for finishing the ends of cord/thong to hang a pendant on.  i am having trouble actually folding the sides of the clamps over the cord and i am wondering if there is a special tool/pair of pliers/crimps for doing this?
or how does anyone else do it?

the clamps look like this, one is a side view and i have put the end of my cord in the other one and not attempted to do any folding, but the sides should fold over the cord:
