amazing job with the jacket!!

i love it! i like flogging molly too! i also really like the green and black skirt you had on with the flogging molly...did u make that too? its really cute even if you didnt. im trying to do something with iron ons but im not really sure what to do. i really like your ideas though

Haha--I think from your excessive commentage, you're one of my new best friends. The black and green skirt? That's actually the back of one I made (and posted here) with the teenage mutant ninja turtles on the front. Good luck with the iron-ons. Whoever made those...if I ever find out who they are...I will go to their house and worship them.

Wink

I like you...haha thank you very much. I did the heartbeat readout in fabric paint...cause I'm lazy.

I love the first jacket, did you make it?

Geez that was fast.

And to ths comment--but of course. I started with a huge white T-shirt, added a zipper and sleeves stolen from a black shirt I never wear. Then I used transfers to add the pictures.
244  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I wanna be a pirate! on: April 08, 2005 07:05:27 PM
Due to my unhealthy obsession with Johnny Depp and Pirates of the Caribbean (btw--they're shooting the 2nd and 3rd right now! Grin) I felt it necessicary to make a pirate coat. This is actually my second coat because the first suffered major machine wash shrinkage.

Thanks--feedback much appreciated.

I made this skirt out of some AWESOME fabric.

Europe/Asia/Middle east/Africa on the front:

And I sat on the US:

Okay...so...all of these started as HUGE whit T-shirts or other sleeved shirts + iron-on transfers.

My first obsession--Flogging Molly:

Drunken Lullabies cover art on the front:

The sleeves:

The back--picture is a concert poster:

Next, I have Oasis. I LOVE the Gallagher brothers...so...I broke out the iron-on transfers:

And finally, Woodstock. I dyed the shirt back in the 8th grade and found it in the back of my closet...right after I saw "woodstock":

Feedback much appreciated!

I made this skirt from a large Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shirt. I was a HUGE fan when I was little and the shirt is still too big...so I took some scissors to it. I also made the shirt.

Up close and personal with the shirt. If you can't tell it's supposed to be an EKG..machine...readout..thing:

When I first wore it to school I got a lot of people giving me positive feedback. One girl I've never seen in my life came running up behind me and started freaking out yelling "OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH!"

Feedback much appreciated.
