Evening everyone!

So Today I needed to make tags for personal business. And I have never done this before. I tried to stick to popping yet earth colors I do only earth friendly items. Can I have some tips on decorating or how they look ?  I did not want them too flashy. On the back i just hand wrote my site and name. ( mods I am not trying to promote my site in any way with this post. I genuinely hope to get opinions and tips.)

Cheers everyone Happy Crafting.

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Recycled Paper and items become a book and pencil. on: November 14, 2011 01:46:23 PM
I had a load of fun making this charm necklace.

I decided to get super industrious and custom make my own "needle" To fit the Super thin Plastic coated wire into the binding of the book.
I made it by cutting a piece of stainless steel wire on an angle, Then creating an eye loop on the end.  I needed a longer needle and voila!

The pencil is hand carved from a miniature normal sized pencil then to sit in as the "copper top" it is stainless steel wire. Hook looped onto a thin wire strand that sits inside the binding. The wire strand moves up and down so when wearing the necklace the pencil is snug at the base but when you need to jot something down, It slides down about two inches.
Placed it on a hand made leather strap. The paper is pre purchased recycled paper.

I gather all my stones my self and hand polish them then i find bits and create items...

I had so much fun making these I thought I would share them. New to this site and liking what I see so far.

This was one of my first wire wrap jobs.
I am really happy with how it came out.
