Love love... especially the blue/white tummy.
I rescued a little sparrow baby at a week old, who after surviving and thriving 6 months, later passed due to a stupid mistake on my part Sad I should memorialize her. I miss her so much.

7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Squid launcher-- OH YEAH! on: October 30, 2011 01:10:23 PM
Thanks! I tried to get glasses but he's got such a tiny head! And he wouldn't even let me try a pair on him, much less wear them an entire evening. I can get the face paint on somewhat straight, if I bribe him with a lollipop to sit still.
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Squid launcher-- OH YEAH! on: October 29, 2011 10:00:42 PM
"You ever seen one of these? No you haven't. I invented it."

My 2yo is always doing Vector's little "oh yeah" and the dance, so I decided to make him a Vector costume for Halloween.

Believe it or not, the pants and jacket each used to be a pair of youth 2XL swim trunks Smiley The launcher is a toy ball shooter painted white, inside a Method antibacterial wipes container and I made the squid too! I was all over town looking for a squid toy and finally just made it myself and I'm super happy with how it turned out.

GASP! A plant that I can't kill! I'm SO making a TON of these!

Do you get the pattern? i dont  :[
They look decently easy to do freeform. Make each piece then sew together how you like them.
