Ok, I will admit that it has taken me a while, but I have finally finished the bag I set out to do about page 9.

Will upload a photo tomorrow - not the most technically accomplished and clever bag ever made, but 'tis mine and will replace the rather un-chic carrier bag I've been using for my gym kit.

Hi,

If there's room for another, I would definitely like to join!

I have 2 books on bag-making, far too much material and have just finished a small clutch bag,(pattern in a sewing magazine) which I'd like another go at as I'm not 100% happy with it.

I also think I have a bag clasp around somewhere ...

Will have to have a rummage, and I'll keep you posted.
4  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Make Your Own Vanilla Extract *UPDATE* on: October 02, 2012 02:33:54 PM
Just tried this tonight - shoudl be interesting! I used 'extract grade' beans as they were a lot cheaper than the AAA grade ones (but still Madagascan) and cheap vodka.  Must be fairly strong, as I've just had a shower and can still smell the vanilla on my hands!

Xmas presents sorted this year, I think!
