Wow there is some good stuff on these boards.
I wanted to do something with metal but couldn't find anything, not even a paper clip. (darn me throwing so much out when we moved)

So here is my first one. I just used a whole lot of circles, end of pens, lids, etc. And my second, I used my Medic Alert bracelet as a stamp

No I didn't use any interfacing, I should have but was only trying to see if I could get it to work. It stays closed because of the folds, I've had it in my bag all day with money in and none has come out, its trapped.
28  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / First Skirt in a long time on: January 17, 2007 07:30:19 PM
After a long no sew period I've started again with this skirt. It is from a sort of faux suede type fabric which i've had in my stash for years. The pattern was from a Burda mode magazine which I changed a little, basically it is a pencil skirt with godets in the back. I'm pretty happy with it being I have sewn anything for ages!
Please excuse the photo my 5 year old daughter took it, and didn't really get the idea I wanted a photo of the skirt, not me.

This is a little coin purse I made today from a pattern in a Burda Mode magazine.
It was nice and quick to make. I used a tiny little scrap of fabric I had.

This one kind of shows how it opens/closes.

pretty much all it is is a cube which folds down on its self.
