1  Re: Oversized Men's Hoodie --> Zip-up hoodie with corset detail. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Sans Nom on: August 12, 2005 02:58:36 PM
By eyes, I meant eyes of.. hooks and eyes. =D

Picture to clarify. Mine was size 2.
And, although the hoodie had holes for the hood, there wasn't any drawstring. (Maybe there was before, but after a few washes it came out and I never realised?) So I put the same ribbon as I used for the back through it.

And sure, feel free to use the idea. 'Tis a place to share, no? =)

2  Free Alexander McQueen Pattern.. in Sewing Pattern Reviews by Sans Nom on: June 24, 2005 11:31:47 PM
I downloaded a Alexander McQueen pattern from show studio long time ago and I ended up never trying it. I've been thinking to try it now but I haven't sewn for a long time and so I'm feeling shaky about possibly screwing up! haha, so I'm just curious; has anyone made it before? How would you rate the difficulty?

That's the finished garment:

And thoes are pictures of the garment made by other people: (also from showstudio.com)

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.  Grin

-edit- I really should have used the search button first! (sheepish laugh.)

3  A logo for cancer awareness in Crafty Charitable/Social Causes by Sans Nom on: May 07, 2005 06:38:07 PM
Odd request, but I need help desinging a logo for my cancer awareness poster for French class.. we have to come up with our own logos for the social problem we want to address.

I was thinking of a ribbon shaped into a heart or daffodil, as an hommage to the real logo. (I'm sure you all know the ribbon cancer logo thing.. and I was thinking daffodil b/c that's the logo for the Canadian cancer society.)

it can be drawn or craft'ed..

I thought maaaybe I could do something showing "togetherness" since.. we all have to pull together to find a cure. I was thinking of... 2 holding hands but that's already been done. I can't remember for what company though.

Help would be appreciated greatly. verrrry muchy .

I'm so uncreative. (SIGH!)

Some pictures for inspiration. Tongue

I also thought about making this:

from this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22722.0
with a ribbon with words such as "hope" written all over it.
..that is if I can make one of thoes.   Lips sealed
