2  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / U.K. AND IRELAND / for interest of hand spinners on: April 03, 2006 03:53:31 PM
i have just seen this offer on my local freecycle group (scotland)

inverness_freecycle

I have a box of Alpaca clippings to offer. Approx 15" x 18" x 12" and
stuffed full. The clippings came from three different animals, so there's a
mix of cream-to-brown shades. Includes photograph of the actual alpacas :-)

Ideal for spinning or felt-making, or other crafts.

Collect from Glenlivet at any time, or will post at your expense - the
parcel weighs 3Kg approx, so will cost 7:70 by standard parcel delivery.
(be aware that our post office is part time only, so posting may not be
prompt)

3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / pringles cardboard tubes and plastic snap lips on: September 24, 2005 10:32:56 AM
in a household of just 2 of us, we tend to eat a lot of pringles potato snacks. and as a result end up with lots of cardboard tubes and plastic snap lids.

what can be made from these?

hiya folks. i sometimes buy sheets of unmounted stamps from overseas cos i like one or two of the designs, but then i end up with a box-load that i dont need.

so ive scanned them to show you.
If you want measurements or a description of any of them, please send the link of the image you want info on.

the prices for each stamp range between 80p - 2 depending on size and image quality.

if anyone wants to buy any, just let me know (give me the links of each item you want so i can match the stamp to each pix please) and i will give you the total amount with appropriate postage costs.

i will only be able to take personal cheques or mail orders on orders under 5.    paypal only available for orders over 5.

this craftnoon sounds like fun. im gonna be staying in essex/london in a few weeks time. i was gonna visit central london and trawl round all the craft shops and basically just wander about, but since im no longer londonwise from living away for several years im kind of nervous. so id like to find out when the next crafternoon (or similar get togethers) are happening.
