not too familiar with gimp, but i in psp there are filters/tubes that will change color/sharpness without washing out tiny details, maybe gimp has something similar? google may help you a bit

omg this was one of my fav book/movie series... the dolls turned out great! it's funny because i JUST watched all my dvds of this and this makes me wanna do it again!

seeing as i was born and raised in louisiana and i think our state bird is a cockroach lol i wanna give my two cents... name him ralphie... whenever one got in the house mom and i would argue over who was supposed to take ralphie out for a walk i.e. GET THE ROACH!!! lol you get ralphie... no you! lol so yeah, that's my suggestion
