1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / knitting a hat with 29" circular needles? on: November 24, 2011 02:28:22 PM
I started knitting the Kami Hat with my 16" size 8 circulars, but the circumference is 1-2 inches too small, so I want to switch to larger needles.

I have a pair of 29" size 9 circulars, a pair of size 9 DPNs (who knows why...), and a pair of 16" size 10 circs (which I would rather not use, since I'm worried it might yield TOO large a circumference...).

I know I could definitely restart the hat with the size 9 DPNs, but if there is a way to use the 29" circs, that would be even better. Any ideas?

Thanks! Smiley
