1  How do I distress and treat a shirt to get this look? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Doomsicle on: November 08, 2011 04:20:05 PM
I saw these shirts on etsy and want to make one in the same style. I already know how to shred and ladder the shirt to get the proper design, but in fading and coloring is also really awesome. In the description the seller says they color treated it to get the "post-apocalyptic" look. I already know how to distress fabric by weathering it and putting it through the washer, but if you know other ways to distress shirts do tell. I'd love to be able to do it myself, so if anyone knows how to go about treating the fabric please let me know!
