Great job!  Love the bag and the fabric, I may have to take a trip to Wally World!

Really like the pattern -- was it difficult.  The fabric works great for the pattern.  Good job!

Very nice bag, nice fabric and I really like the button -- adds a great touch.

I don't know why that does that to me, but I think you can just click on the picture and it will resize to a bigger picture.

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do I sew a liner in a purse? on: October 21, 2007 03:43:38 PM
This is how I do mine.  I leave an opening in the bottom of the lining and then put the bag and lining right sides together and sew them at the top; through the handles (make sure they are faced down) -- and I am assuming your bag closes with a snap and not a zipper.  Then turn right side out and sew up the bottom of the lining and then if desired you can iron and topstitch the top of the bag or just iron it really well.

Do you have a detailed picture, maybe I could help.  A picture of the top of the bag would help.  Thanks!
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Interfacing on: October 21, 2007 03:37:18 PM
Gives your bag structure and stability, so it won't be so saggy.  If you use really stiff interfacing, like Timtex it will be really rigid and very hard to turn rightside out.

You did a fantastic job.  I like Amy Butler fabrics too -- I guess I didn't realize she had such bold colors!
