11  riptides tam in Knitting: Completed Projects by likls on: January 07, 2012 08:25:59 PM
hello craftster! this is my first time posting, so bear with me.

first let me say: THIS IS THE GREATEST HAT PATTERN I HAVE EVER KNIT. i am having it laminated and put into some sort of binder. i love it so much.
HOWEVER- i did alter it. after attempting ribbing several times, i gave up and did the whole thing in stockinette stitch. it came out fine. also, i used bulky yarn instead of super bulky yarn. also not a problem. the pompom was also an addition. i had leftover yarn.) had i sat down to make it instead of knitting it a couple of rows at a time, i am confident i would have finished it before the end of a season of rupaul's drag race. it was very simple, very quick.

NOW. ONTO THE PHOTOS. sorry in advance for mirror pictures, my tripod was lost. also sorry i didn't get a modelless photo of the hat! i meant to.

pattern at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/riptides-hat .
used Bernat Roving yarn in Low Tide.

thanks for looking!
