3  Help me hem this jumper! in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by raina on: December 26, 2007 10:52:01 AM
I asked this same question on the photo page itself (on flickr), but I'm struggling with where to hem this jumper.

Please feel free to click on the image and add a note to it (on flickr) indicating where you would hem the dress. Or, add a note below. I'm befuddled by this and need your expertise and advice!

Thanks in advance, oh stylish ones!

another shot of the top. i love this quilt! i love the weight of it. I love it because it partially belongs to my great-grandmother (i used her linens for it)

Thanks for the kind words! The pattern for my squares can be found here: http://ibbybeequilts.blogspot.com/2007/07/finished-and-sent-to.html. It's really just a random slice-insert strip-sew thing. Very random and non-perfect. which makes things easier, of course!

Tomorrow I will take a shot of the updated quilt top... i AM putting a white band between each row Smiley

Attention all you who have also been working on a red and aqua quilt... let's post pictures of ours in this thread to share!

Here is my flickr photo set about my quilt: http://flickr.com/photos/persephonesawakening/sets/72157601382053745/

And here is my first strip of squares...

I now have four strips done, and have found a nice white sheet for the backing.

7  Can any identify this yarn? in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by raina on: July 10, 2007 07:52:40 PM
I have this beautifully soft variegated yarn. My mom bought it over 10 years ago to make something and never did. I have since been trying to make something with it (started about four projects) but nothing seems to fit. I just don't like variegated!

Can anyone identify what type of yarn this is? I'm going to post it on etsy and need some info! The labels were removed and discarded years ago...

9  Re: Ongoing Offer What You Have (Crafts/Supplies) Swap - June in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by raina on: June 17, 2007 12:18:47 PM
I'm Raina and this is my second claim. (First has already been received). I claim Miss V. for the red felted sweater.

Here's what I have up for grabs (please go to my flickr set and hover of the picture for a better idea of what each piece is! http://www.flickr.com/photos/persephonesawakening/sets/72157600306144013/.

I want to get rid of this stuff, so please chose enough to fill a small box (approx. the size of a granola bar box). It you chose too much, i'l PM you to let you know and you can decide what not to take. If you want an estimate, chose 10 items. PLEASE ONLY CHOSE ONE BOOK. Remember that fabric is heavier and takes up more space Smiley :
