Before I squared them up. I love them so much that I want to keep them! I think I have enough fabric to make my own though.

I don't have any real holiday fabric, so I hope these work!

And a shot of one of the squares after I cut them up and played with them

The points on one don't exactly line up, which annoys me, but it's an extra anyway Smiley

2  Re: Jar of Hearts - our digital jar in The Swap Gallery by Pearliepie on: November 26, 2011 11:28:13 AM
I finally got all of my pictures to upload so I can share them with everyone!

First, from the wonderful EdelC, these three very cool hearts

It took me a few days to notice that the back (front?) of the paper heart is the cooler side Smiley
Isn't she pretty?
EdelC and I also swapped some extras- I sent her some yummy spices and she sent me some delish chocolate (not pictures because it arrived on a total crap day and the husband and I ate it all in bed while watching movies) and the best tea I have ever had.

Next, from Onyxnox, a sparkly polymer heart with a crystal (LOVE IT!) Two really beautiful wire hearts wrapped with beads, two resin hearts filled with hearts, and a chalkboard heart that my husband and I have been using to leave short, sappy messages for each other. And a really pretty card that I pinned up on my inspiration board.

Zigg13pra sent three very neat hearts- paper hearts that spell out Jar of Hearts (ahh! This is SO COOL!!), colorful stacked paper hearts (my husband's favorite!), and a cute felt heart with a button detail.

My final package came from d3v14n7- a beautiful selection of sewn and crocheted hearts. I really  like the blue and brown one with beads, but the little pink flowery one is cute too!

Thank you so much to all of my partners! I loved this swap!!

I've also recieved a set from Teag! The white is my favorite, but it's impossible to get a picture of!

It's so smooth and creamy. I adore grey pearls!
Here are the other four:

The purple one says Hope- I really love it too.

I have two super awesome packages to share!
First, errka made me some amazing jewelry. I have gotten so many compliments on the earrings! And everyone loves the octopus necklace

Both pairs of earrings are so cool- really pretty flowers and chain shoulder dusters with beautiful beads on the ends

I took some action shots, but they're on my work computer- I'll try to upload them on Monday again.

Then I received this amazing embroidery travel case from Averia

Isn't the fabric fun?

I LOVE the tiny needlebook!

Thank you both SO MUCH! I had a really rough week, and your packages cheered me up so much.

I got home from a long day to find this lovely lady waiting for me.

I adore her frock and her little pink shoes! Her braids are pretty cute, too.
Thank you so much, Sandroo! She looks great on my wall!

I could have sworn I already posted this beauty from Amnesia. I can't believe it's not up here yet.
Baba Yagga's house!

All my best memories of my great gran are of her scaring the pants off my sister and I with stories of the witch Baba Yagga and her terrifying house.

Look at the awesome skull and bone fence!

I love it so, so much!

I'm also waiting for my "local" hoop to arrive! I asked them to hand cancel it and I'm terrified that was a mistake! I hope it arrives safely.

Here is the hoop SciFunk made for me:

I love it!

Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to your new best friend.
She knows all the best nightspots, but is totally up for just saying home and doing mud masks and pedi's together. With wine and music, of course!
Please meet Flo:

She's perfect! So perfect, in fact, that RetroGypsy left her a little, uh, exposed

Isn't that great? If I ever have a backside as nice as this I'm leaving it open too! (hehehe!)

Here she is on my wall

9  Do you know what this is? This is... A lamp! in Needlework: Completed Projects by Pearliepie on: June 11, 2011 08:29:15 PM
Stitched for the ongoing hoopla swap-

Leg lamp! by Pearliepie, on Flickr

There's a little bit of crayon tinting on the leg itself, but when I added the stocking it washed out.

Leg lap shoe by Pearliepie, on Flickr

I chose not to outline the leg so it really looks like fishnets.

Leg lamp shade by Pearliepie, on Flickr

The fringe messed up the top of the stocking a little, but it's still pretty awesome!

Here's the hoop Seereeoslee sent me- she's done counted cross stitch before, but this is her first embroidery! I love it so very much.

Some details- the flowers are made of layers of felt.
