okay, I was wrong about the stuff being at the MAC counter. It is a product called Dermablend that can be found in stores like Dillards, Macy's and most any department store. It is costly and I don't think it is worth it just to cover up one tattoo. My makeup artist has said that she can do tattoo coverup, but I didn't ask what products she uses. I will try to remember what she uses and take pictures.
oh god, the wedding is in 12 days!

I, also, have quite a few tattoos that will be visible with the wedding dress on. I am only going to cover the one on my back, since it is black work and would stand out. I got a recommendation from the dress shop to hit the MAC counter in the mall, they apparently have something that works quite well. I will let you know what I go with, the wedding is in 4 weeks!!

Geeze...all of you guys sound like you are doing really well. I am already lagging behind on my crafting. I think I am going to have to quit my jobs and school to complete half of the things on my list. I am going to try to get lots done over the next few weekends and see how it all works out.
Glad to see everyone else working hard!!

CraftyKate-
I have been looking at this pattern for some time now and I kept thinking to myself "how would this look in noro?", I am so glad I read your post, love the action shot! Are you happy with how it turned out? Does the color take away from the pattern? Sorry for all the questions- I am just ready to make this scarf. And I'm thinking about making it for my future MIL and SIL.
Thanks!

I am stressing already over my knitted xmas gifts. I am working on the PoA Harry Potter scarf and it is taking me forever. I haven't even made it to the second pattern repeat-even worse I have another one to make. Plus someone just requested mittens. I don't think my friends understand how much time it takes to knit something. I know that I am not the only one here who has this problem. Ugh.
On a positive note, I just found out a friend of mine is a new knitter and I think I am just going to spin up a hank or two of yarn for her to create with. Does this sound like a good gift??

They don't have the most user friendly site in the world. Most of their fibers are packaged in 8 oz bundles. If you have any questions about weight, I highly recommend calling their 800 number. The ladies there are a real pleasure to talk to!
