I am a new member to the board.  I love crafting.  I think I loose focus a lot of time on craft projects.  I see something and immediately think, "I can make that." Recently, I knitted a scarf (my first knitting project ever).  I taught myself by books and internet videos.  I just completed my daughter's Halloween Costume that is the biggest project I have ever done.   All done on a Singer 15-91!  I am happy to be a member of this board.  There are a lot of talented people on here.

Layout is the worst thing about sewing for me.

Yes they are!  I have 7 Walmarts within 20 minutes of my home and almost all of them brought the fabric department back.  Patterns are limited though.

I am a gadget hog!  I have to try everything.  My favorites right now are the Fasturn tool and a lighted seam ripper.
