1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / How to make DIY slip covers. Anyone know? on: May 08, 2006 12:11:05 PM
Hey all- I got a great deal on a semi-decent looking couch but it doesn't match any of my stuff.  I want to make my own slip covers and for them to be as easy as possible to make! - I don't really have a sewing machine at my disposal.  Is there anyway to just buy some fabric and just throw it over or something? Thanks!
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / David Bowie!! on: November 07, 2005 07:45:59 AM
Does anyone have a david bowie stencil?  I would be indebted forever if you did!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Branching Out is Finished! on: October 15, 2005 08:49:40 PM
I finally got the time to finish Branching Out!  But now I'm too lazy to weave in the ends...oh well, maybe tomorrow!

This was such an easy pattern, I highly recommend it!
4  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / To Dye For and the beginning of Tank Girl on: October 11, 2004 12:40:32 PM
Here's the To Dye For sweater I knit up last winter. It was my first garmet ever. Now that I'm looking at it I wish that I had of used smaller needles around the shoulders because the Rowan Polar yarn stretched a bit. The sleeves were too long too but I rolled them and them blocked them up. Also I didn't know how to do necklines at the time so that got pretty out of control. But I'm still quite happy with my first sweater.

And here is the beginning of Tank Girl for my sister and the finished back.  The front will have longer straps and a lower neckline.
