6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / I made another kind of Japanese hairband.. on: June 06, 2009 11:47:17 AM
I was making this as a hairpin, like the other style in my sigline, but at the end, I decided to go with a hairband. :p I thought it would be really cute as hairband bobbles, and I was right. Tongue

Made from a vintage Japanese kimono fabric...it's a little heavyweight, with honeycomb woven in, and random white polkadots scattered...came out so cute, I think! Cheesy

I actually took photos while making these, and made them into a tutorial on my blog, if anyone wants to make them themselves. I would love to see, if you do! Grin

Oops I meant not a single casualty  Roll Eyes I used regular superglue and it sticks really well. You have to watch the wool and the superglue though because if you over apply it can get hot and start smoking  Tongue

Umm..I have wool felt, and superglue somewhere. Excuse me...I have a need to go see this in person. Tongue
