Im having a little boy in a few months, and wasnt liking what was offered in the gown department. So I made my own. Sorry no before pics, but they were just old tshirts from dh.

Here's my 16 yo wearing her dress shirt recon. I took the sleeve cuffs and used them as the top and back on the top.

And the orange shirt was just a regular boring tshirt. I cut it slightly too small up top so now it's my bathing suit cover but I still like it.

I realized after I started cutting that I forgot a picture. The before was your typical boxy, unflattering sweater. This one wasn't even wearable as the neckhole didn't stretch enough to go over my head!! So I needed a sweater for work so it couldn't be pull over. So I used the neck seam as my ties. Where I hemmed actually ended up ruffling. It turned out pretty nice. As seen here with my scrubs lol.  I need to trim the inside of the arms still. That'll wait til tomorrow tho lol.  And excuse the fuzzies on the sweater

After some cutting and messing with I finally got this


I ended up putting elasticin the back as it was too big. I think it will end up ebony my bathing suit cover. Oh the bodice part is the sleeves. I just nOticed you can't see the strips in the picture. Not too bad for first time and no pattern.
