31  A few pieces of felted jewelry in Felting: Completed Projects by CraftyZary on: December 21, 2005 11:57:24 AM
These are some pieces of felted jewelry that I have been doing the past days. They are mostly needle felted and some have little touches of wet felting.

I made some rings. The biggest is one the red ones, you can see how huge it is at the 'action' pic. I would not wear something so big, but is for a friend who loves things that big

I made this light necklace for my sister (she loves green and pink)

A flower cuff

I love making jewelry and work a lot with glass beads, etc, but now I have been doing many felted things, it is so relaxing, light and addicting  Cheesy

32  Re: Felt along no.1 - Felt covered soap in Felting: Completed Projects by CraftyZary on: December 21, 2005 11:44:06 AM
so many great soaps! and I am in love with the strawberry one, looks delicious, ruwena!

Here is my take on the felt-along, but mine did not come out that good.  Inspired by the wonderful soap of GraceO. with the flower (thanks for the inspiration, GraceO!) I added something too. The soap I used smells very fresh and for some reason it came to my mind to add a snail, but I think the snail was maybe a little too thick so there is this little 'bulk' at the sides where the snail is.  Hopefully my next ones come out better.

I got today my wonderful package from Traquel!!!  And I need to say that craftsters are the most generous people that I know, Traquel sent me soooo many goodies!

I wished for a crafts book, and I got a wonderful big book with loads of crafts projects, sooo cool!  AND not only did Traquel sent me the book, she sent besides the book:
- A stuffed gingerbread man for my daughter, so cute!
- A bag full of jewelry findings
- A bag full of seashell beads (I love them!)
- 2 resin fishes
- loads of chocolate!!! I love love chocolate, and it is funny because when I went to USA when I was a child, I ate the sixlets and I love them, but I completely forgot the name and I can not find them here, but now thanks to Traquel I have a bag full of them!

And i need to say that she even included a very nice and beautiful card.

I am soooo happy, thanks again Traquel for all the things, I love them!!!

34  Re: One tiny thing swap 2 in The Swap Gallery by CraftyZary on: December 06, 2005 06:48:59 AM
PinkMafia received and asked me to post the pics of what I sent her, so here it is.

I made her a set of tiny 'Dia de Muertos' (Day of the dead) stationary. Here is the vinyl cover closed:

here it is open:

And here is the tiny stationary (it is approx. 4x5 in): tiny envelopes, tiny sugar calavera sheets, tiny note cards, calavera stickers and calavera buttons to match...

It was superfun to do and of course I am in for a next round!  Grin

It must be my lucky day because I got today 3 packages from different swaps  Cheesy Among them, I got the wonderful package from OhDarling and I am IN LOVE with it!  I asked for a fabric belt or a journal and she sent me both!!! and they are just perfect!

Here is the awesome fabric belt, I love the fabric, the colors and the design! it is perfect, I just got it this morning and it is already my favorite belt! Did I mention that I love it?

And here are some pics of the beautiful journal, wonderful. I love the colors and you can not see it at the pics, but the pages are mixed in light green (matching perfectly with the cover) and white. It is very well made and I simply LOVE it!

And OhDarling sent everything very beautifully wrapped and included even a very nice card, crafters are just so wonderful!
Thanks again OhDarling, I love it all!  Cheesy

39  Needle felted mini Frida doll in Felting: Completed Projects by CraftyZary on: November 27, 2005 06:11:39 AM
I wanted to have a cute little Frida Kahlo doll so I decided to needle felt one  Cheesy  I added a few beads and flowers for the earrings, necklace and hair. She is tiny (about 4-5 in. tall) and stands by herself. The face was difficult to do and does not look exactly like I wanted it to look, but maybe I will keep poking a little more to define the features.
Here it is:

These are pics of things that I have been doing for some swaps, I have sooo much fun doing things, especially when they are not for me because I can try different styles  Cheesy. As they were for different people they are all made with different style. I hope that the pics are not too smal:

PS. Ignore the plastic thingy in the second pic, it is a wire wigjig for jewelry making.
