I received today the awesomest package from the fabulous ashestoashes! She is an amazing partner as usual (it is not the first time we swap together) and it feels great to see how much care she puts in the crafts she makes.  Here are the wonderful things she sent me...

Felt sushi magnets!! She is great working with felt, always the stitches are perfect. I love the magnets! and they came inside a little chinese take away box made by her!


and of course mexican flair was present in the package  Here is a Frida magnet, a beautiful embellished tin and a felt Frida doll!!! isN#t it a cutie? and she even stands alone, it is actually like a kind of mini-beanie Frida, I love it!

These awesome fingerless gloves! I have been wanting some since forever (I can not knit at all), and she saw in my wists that I wanted ones and made me these warm soft gloves, they are perfect! I love them


Drum roll please to see the most perfect embroidery I have seen! She made me this beautiful pillow with Virgen de Guadalupe embroidery! The embrodery is amazing! check the gold thread details and the appliqued stars, I LOVE it!



and I wanted some american candy so she sent me these delicious chocolate bars!

I received today my beautiful tin from ashestoashes! From my themes, she was choosing 'Amelie' and this is what she made:

The front of the tin. It has a decoupaged image of Amelie and the border has little dots, and I love the round shape!

The Inside. She used here one of my favorite images with the rabbit cloud  . And the other part of the tin is covered with red and white fabric resembling Amelie's umbrella:


And inside there are these magnets: Eiffel tower, a gnome and the little fish jumping out of the tank trying to commit 'suicide' I love it!:


and a skull eraser, a cute 'blubber' goldfish and a super cute garden gnome pin who did travel around the world to get here to Europe

I got today a FABULOUS package from Modus Operandi! I am in love with everything, she sent me so many beautiful things!  Just have a look at the pics.

A cute and funny fluffy bird fellow! I need to say that my daughter jumped to try to reach it as soon as she saw it! it was hard for me to take the pic because she wanted to hold it on her hands and keep it. After the photo she took it and does not want to give it to me

I received today my ATC from Melladh and I LOVE it! it is so creative and beautiful! I love the little silky dress. The word 'create' is sewn, and there is a little piece of chainmaille sewn too!

With all my excitement for showing yesterday the pics of the amazing things that Bobolink sent me, I did not even have a look to the other pictures but now I did and wow, again so many great things!

So after giving all my comments in one post, I will save space and une the same post for showing the pics of the things I sent Bobollink. A few pics are very bad because the batteries of the digicam were almost dead, but here they are:

She wanted a journal, so I made this one in A4 size (almost letter size) with a painted wooden cover. We all know Bobolink's love for birds, so this was my main theme. The pages were printed with birds and nature images too

and just a quick update about the great things I got from Bobolink: my daughter is like crazy in LOVE with her mouse!  She is playing all the time and does not go anywhere without the mouse  yesterday the mouse visited already many places. And she wanted to have the bookmark too!    I told her that it was mine but she wanted it. I needed to play a mouse voice and using her new mouse I needed to tell her that the bookmark  belongs to mami, only then when the mouse told her, she stoped asking for it 

I got today my fabulous package from the amazing bobolink!!!  we had one specific requested item and the other things were surprises, and she surprised me with loads of fantastic things! here are the pics

The specific requested item I asked her for, was a knitted mouse for my daughter (she has the book and she loves the mouse) and here is the wonderful mouse bobolink knitted for her. I put a pic of my daughter very happy with her new mouse, she is so excited!


and as a surprise she sent me a supercute knitted bookmark, and this beautiful knitted jewelry set, I love it!


but that is not all, she sent me this cactus pincushion! I so wanted it!


plus one of her beautiful microscope slide necklaces, with Frida!  and lots Frida stickers and cards and a cool skully pencil


and she even sent me this coll huge Frida kahlo bag!

I finished one shrine!  I made it Frida-themed and tried not to go too colorful on this one.  The front panel opens to the front, so I took pics of different angles of the outside and the inside to have a better idea of how it looks all together...









I am working on another little shrine, a very different one. I will post the pic as soon as I am done
