1  Bob's Big Boy in Halloween Costumes by t4wittma on: November 01, 2011 01:46:33 PM
My family owns a Big Boy restaurant in Michigan. I found a mask of our mascot on Ebay and bought it to play a prank on one of the servers. Then I figured "what the hell, why not make the whole costume" And so I did!

The overalls are made up of 4 inch red and white squares cut from $5 bedsheets I found at walmart. I had to sew the patchwork because they don't make a red and white checkered fabric print. I looked everywhere! I used extra red from the sheet to do the straps. I added blue buttons to the straps to finish off the overalls. I hand painted the blue bands and text onto a white T-shirt and finished it off with my purchased mask.

I worked at the restaurant on Halloween and of course I wore the costume! It was a hit!
