Hello everyone, first post here
Here's a few papier maché sculptures i've been doing in the last few days. When i start making the next ones i'll make a tutorial of the process.
The idea's pretty simple. I make shape out of tinfoil, sometimes helped by a wire skeleton, and cover it in stripes of newspaper soaked in wallpaper glue (can't figure out the english name). Once dry i apply a quick layer of white acrylic and then paint it with an airbrush.
Here's the non painted version:
Here's an alien i made after that, still needs painting:
Then i made a hand but did a poor job painting it:
Here's a bigger one, a crystal ball holder, this one i will put special care in painting it (for the juggling nerds like me it's a 95mm acrylic from Home of Poi):
In the tutorial i plan on covering the basic idea and techniques.
If some are interested i can also cover wire skeleton basics and painting with an airbrush, i'd do it only it's asked though, it would take a good amount of time ^^
